Y-12 National Security Complex While the complex itself is not open to the public, in 2007, a new visitors center was opened for the public. This center showcases exhibits featuring displays on Y-12 inventions as well as a brief video on the history of Y-12. Explore other sites of interest. Lunch on own , return to Pigeon Forge in the afternoon.

Historic Carnton Plantation, this elegant home was turned into a field hospital during the Battle of Franklin.
