Tour the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Meet at the hotel for a Welcome Reception. Dinner this evening will be at The Old Mill Restaurant. Entertainment will be at Country Tonight.
Day 2 - Spend the day at Dollywood, the Smoky Mountain Family Adventure, award winning entertainment, master craftsman, mountain adventures and much, much more.
Return to the hotel to refresh before the evening activities. Sit back and be entertained at the Smith Family Theater, voted best show and best entertainers in the Smokies'.Oldies, Country, Gospel, Impersonations and Comedy.
Day 3 Tour the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, the most visited National Park in the country. The Cherokee people called this the "Place of Blue Smoke" for the lovely bluish mist from which the mountain tops rise. Enjoy a picnic lunch in one of the scenic spots in the mountains. Depart for home. |

The Cherokee Indians were the first to be charmed by the natural beauty of the mountains, fresh flowing streams and rivers, and clear blue sky in what they called "Land of the Blue Smoke", or Smoky Mountains as we know them today.
The Cherokees in Western North Carolina today are the descendants from those Cherokees who were able to hold on to land they owned, or hid out in the hills, or were able to return. Today, the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians is a sovereign nation of 100 square miles, with more than 13,000 enrolled members ,a place where modern people respect and preserve the history of their ancestors.

Day 2 - Visit Cherokee, original home of the local Cherokee Indians. Visit the Museum of the Oconoluftee Indians and the authentic village. Open since 1948, the museum tells the story of the Cherokee people using high-tech wizardry along with an extensive artifact collection. Visit the Cherokee Heritage Museum. A unique museum housing the world's largest collection of Cherokee arts and crafts. Exhibits portray Cherokee history, legends, and culture, including religion, dance, ceremony, government, gender roles, the Trail of Tears and the Civil War.
See the world-famous Eagle Dancer sculpture by John Julius Wilnoty. Gift shop offers authentic Cherokee crafts, fine arts, books, and music. Lunch at Harrah's Casino and free time.
